Beach Restaurants

One of the great things about Ibiza is that you can find amazing food without having to venture far from the beach. For a casual lunch, head to Sal & Pepa on Figueretes Beach. This open-air restaurant serves fresh seafood, paella, and traditional Spanish dishes. Or, for something a little different, try La Bruschetta on Cala Tarida Beach. This Italian restaurant has a great atmosphere and an even better view of the sunset.

If you’re looking for a more upscale beach dining experience, Algar Restaurant at El Hotel Pacha is perfect. Located on Playa d’en Bossa, this Michelin-starred restaurant offers creative modern cuisine with beautiful views of the seafront. For an unforgettable dining experience, make sure to make a reservation at El Chiringuito on Cala Conta Beach. This glamorous beach club is only open for dinner and offers an exquisite menu of Mediterranean dishes.

Casual Dining

Ibiza is full of great casual dining options that are perfect for studying your Spanish or grabbing a quick bite before heading out for the night. Café Mambo is one of the most popular spots on the island and serves classic Spanish tapas like patatas bravas and gambas al pil pil. If you’re in search of the perfect Insta-worthy meal, look no further than Can Domingo Gourmet. This restaurant specializes in fresh fish served whole with sautéed vegetables – definitely worth an Instagram post! Or, for something a little different, try Can Curreu Restaurant & Winery. Aside from having an extensive wine list (always a bonus), this restaurant also offers fantastic views of Ibiza Town and Formentera Island.

Restaurants

In addition to casual cafes and beach restaurants, Ibiza also has some incredible high-end restaurants that are perfect for special occasions or date nights. For truly unique cooking, head to E Noticias where Chef Mateu Casanas creates one-of-a-kind dishes using seasonal ingredients sourced from local farms. If you’re looking for exquisite seafood, Sa Caleta Restaurant is a must-visit spot. Located in the old fishing village of Sant Antoni de Portmany, this restaurant overlooks the stunning Cala Contessa and offers fresh fish straight from the sea. And finally, no visit to Ibiza would be complete without dining at La Belle Epoque. This legendary restaurant has been serving up French fare since 1912 and is one of the oldest restaurants on the island. Trust us when we say it’s worth splurging on a visit here at least once during your stay in Ibiza!

Whether you’re looking for fresh seafood by the beach or Michelin-starred cuisine, there’s something for everyone in Ibiza’s food scene. So what are you waiting for? Grab your sunscreen and your sunglasses and head to one of these amazing restaurants!

When to go

If you’re looking for the ultimate Ibiza experience—dry heat, packed clubs, and a vibrant atmosphere—then you’ll want to visit during the busy months of June, July, or August. These are also the warmest months so ideal for tanning on the beach during the daytime.

If you’re looking to save some money on your trip or avoid the crowds, shoulder season (May or September) is definitely the way to go. The weather will still be nice but not quite as blistering hot as it is during peak season. You’ll also have your pick of hotels and restaurants since things will be less crowded overall. Just keep in mind that some clubs and attractions may be closed during these months.

No matter when you decide to visit Ibiza, you’re sure to have an amazing time! Just be sure to do your research beforehand so that you know what to expect in terms of weather, prices, and crowds. And most importantly—have fun!
